: I teach a 2-D animation class and use a scanner to import our drawings into our animation software. We have had trouble with our bulk scanner croppint the image. The size of each cel must remain the same. Does you Fujitsu 5510 scanner have this autocropping feature and do you think it would work for our purposes?
Answer : The auto paper size detection feature of the ScanSnap S510 automatically crops the image to on have the page that was scanned. It uses the black border around the page to determine what to crop and takes off this black area only leaving the image of the page.
