: Hi. Do all of the scanners with ADF have the capability to scan the entire tray or do they need to break it up into smaller batches? Fujitsu and Panasonic appear to have larger ADFs than Kodak for similar models is there a reason behind this - feeding accuracy, missfeed risk?
Answer : All scanners can scan their entire feeder tray worth of pages in a single batch, provided the software that you are scanning with allows for this.
There are a number of factors that affect a scanner's ADF size, from cost to scan speed. Suffice to say that the size of the feeder does not affect feeding accuracy, which depends on the rollers and internal design of the scanner.
