: What is an imprinter? What is the difference between an imprinter and an endorser?
Answer : An imprinter and an endorser are both very fast printers that can print a sequence number (Bates Stamp) or some short value physically on each page that is being scanned.
The difference between an imprinter and an endorser is an imprinter prints before the image is captured and an endorser prints after the image is captured. Imprinters are sometimes referred to is Pre-Scan Imprinters and Endorsers are sometimes referred to as Post-Scan Imprinters.
