: I have a fi-4120C/fi-4220C that is giving a maintenance error when scanning regularly. How is this fixed?
Answer : The first step to solving this issue is to clean the scanner thoroughly.
The second step is to replace the two consumables for this scanner, which are the Pick Roller and the Pad Assembly. These are almost always the cause of this error, if cleaning does not solve the issue.
